Fair Lane--The Home of Clara and Henry Ford is currently closed for renovations, but thanks to the generosity of the University and the Historic Ford Estates, the Fair Lane Music Guild is being allowed to use the Pool Room for these concerts.

Only 100 tickets available per concert, so please consider ordering season tickets!

The Fair Lane Music Guild continues its format of cafe seating and wonderful dessert concerts.
Doors will open and service will begin one half hour prior to the concerts.




Chamber Soloists of Detroit -- Just Between Us

The Guild’s season opens the 2018-2019 season with a performance by the Chamber Soloists of Detroit.  As has become its trademark, CSD will again be introducing some of Detroit’s newest rising stars to metropolitan Detroit audiences. This performance will be held in memory of long-time FLMG patron Marilyn Copeland. (Details are under development as of this writing.)

The Paul VornHagen Quartet-- An Evening of Jazz

Winner of six Detroit Music Awards, saxophonist/flutist/vocalist Paul VornHagen will present a program of jazz standards by such composers as Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, Rodgers & Hart, Dave Brubeck, Antonio Carlos Jobim (Brazilian) and more. Robust with a touch of romance, expect the highest level of musicianship and professionalism. Paul has released ten recordings on the PKO Records that have been featured on all the major NPR programs nationwide. Accompanied this evening by piano, acoustic bass and drums, his sound has been compared to Stan Getz (sax), Herbie Mann (flute) and Chet Baker(vocals). This concert includes the annual Chancellor’s Reception, sponsored and hosted by UM-Dearborn Chancellor Domenico Grasso.

Gabe Bolkosky featuring the Phoenix Quartet -- Title TBD

The season will conclude with Guild favorite Gabe Bolkosky featuring the Phoenix Quartet. Bolkosky is known for his versatility and sensitivity as a violinist and has been praised for his ability to "take audiences into his confidence and include them." For this concert Gabe will be filling the role of viola alongside these wonderful musicians. He is the executive director of The Phoenix Ensemble, a nonprofit organization dedicated to being a musical resource for artists and educational institutions, and directs the annual chamber music festivals PhoenixPhest and PhoenixPhest Grande. Gabe also maintains a private violin studio in Ann Arbor.

Take I-94 east to Southfield (M-39) and exit north. Follow Southfield to Michigan Ave. (U.S. 12) and exit west. Take Michigan Ave. west to Evergreen. Turn right, merging into traffic from the east. Follow Evergreen past Hubbard Road and turn left around the island. Move immediately into the right lane and turn right into the northern entrance of the campus.

From the east
