The Henry Ford Estate is currently closed for renovations,but thanks to the generosity of the University and the Historic Henry Ford Estate, the Fair Lane Music Guild is being allowed to use the Pool Room for these concerts.

The Fair Lane Music Guild continues its format of cafe seating and wonderful dessert concerts.
Doors will open and service will begin one half hour prior to the concerts.

Newly appointed DSO principal oboist, 21 year-old Alex Kinmonth, joins DSO principal bassoonist Robert Williams and acclaimed pianist Pauline Martin in a varied program featuring Trios by Poulenc and Lalliet, Saint-Saens’ Bassoon Sonata and Schumann’s Romances for Oboe and Piano. Violinist Gabriel Bolkosky will present an eclectic concert mix of classical chamber and jazz ensemble exploring the colorful and rhythmic Spanish repertoire including Astor Piazzolla's The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires and featuring Miles Davis' Sketches of Spain with Andrew Bishop on saxophone, Marion Hayden on bass, Tad Weed on piano, and Pete Siers on drums.

Hailed as a "new trio of top-drawer local musicians" (Detroit Metro Times), Protea is a wind trio known for their versatility, engaging repertoire, and collaborative spirit.  Dennis Carter (flute), Lisa Raschiatore (clarinet), and Mariah Boucher (piano) focus on works that blend jazz, Latin, and contemporary music influences with classical woodwind standards. Their eclectic program at the Fair Lane Music Guild will take audiences on a musical tour throughout North and South America, including works by Villa-Lobos, Piazolla, Connesson, Gabriela Lena Frank, Catherine McMichael, 
and Valerie Coleman's Portraits of Langston, featuring the poetry of Langston Hughes.

Mr. CutTime, bassist Rick Robinson brings back his signature ensemble CutTime Players for a profound and wild evening of symphonic favorites as only this mini-orchestra can provide. Since leaving the DSO three years ago, he has been traveling the country playing music for his ensembles, recruiting both veteran and young musicians for programs that rock, innovate and introduce classical music-making in casual settings, including bars! Join us for parts of Beethoven's 7th and Mendelssohn's 4th symphonies and Bizet's Carmen, plus lively and famous symphonic dances, overtures and surprises. CutTime means to inspire the WHOLE community!
